It’s been a while. We looked down from our invisible bridge to see nothing was there. We gave other peoples benign comments and narrow minded opinions too much power and allowed them to silence us. We filled with the shame and intolerable nature of our existence.
We haven’t let in the kind messages, the messages that are grateful and positive. We have drowned them out with the overwhelming self consciousness of our audacity in thinking we could be a voice in this unimaginably enormous, turbulent, painful world.
We spoke with our Soul Sister the other day, exploring that stifling sense of everything being too big. They asked how we managed that feeling, what we did.
We said we try and make it small again, try and focus on something little and creative which connects us back to the earth and our humanity.
That advice, always hardest to take from the Selves, has echoed around our head for a while. We are trying to take it.
So here we are, keeping it small, creating, in our own way, something that connects us back to our perfectly imperfect humanity and, hopefully, to yours too.

I’ve missed hearing from you and I’m sorry things have been so tough of late. You write from experiences which no one should belittle, and with a hard-gained wisdom from those experiences. Your voice is important so I’m glad that you have been able to start again. A small voice is not ‘less than’ because it speaks quietly. In fact a small voice so often speaks truth to power in a way that louder voices cannot. Sending you respect (and even love if that’s okay!)
